Due to its infinite recyclability, aluminum is an ideal material to fit the circular economy. In the Hydro recycling units we use pre-consumer scrap generated in our own production processes and in our customers' processes, and post-consumer scrap to produce Hydro Recycled Aluminium.

The challenge we now face is to process more post-consumer scrap. That is why we are working with customers and other stakeholders in the value chain to set up Closing the Loop systems for the collection, sorting/disassembly and reuse of End-of-Life products.
