DJSI World is regarded by many as the world's most significant ranking of corporate performance in environmental and social responsibility and is an important guide for investors and other interested parties when evaluating companies' non-financial performance.

Hydro is listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for 2013-2014 with the same total point score as last year.

The top spot in DJSI World for the aluminium sector is held by Alcoa. Hydro is also included in the European sustainability index DJSI Europe.

Hydro, as one of few companies, has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices every year since the rankings were introduced in 1999.

DJSI World includes the best 10 percent of companies in various industry sectors, while the regional index DJSI Europe includes the best 20 percent of companies in Europe.
